Regularly backing up your company data in TallyPrime is essential to safeguard against data loss due to unforeseen circumstances like system failures or data corruption


📋 Steps to Take Backup in TallyPrime

✅ Step 1: Open TallyPrime

Launch TallyPrime on your compute.

✅ Step 2: Access the Data Menu

From the Gateway of Tally, press Alt + Y to open the Data menu.

✅ Step 3: Select Backup

In the Data menu, choose the Backup option.

✅ Step 4: Configure Backup Settings

  • Backup Destination Path Specify the location where you want to save the backup. This can be a local folder, external drive, or network location,

  • Select Company Choose the company or companies you wish to back up.
